In Lebanon, Marcel Khalife is considered to be an institution. Singer and oud player, he was inspired by the greatest poets like the Palestinian Mahmoud Darwish, while totally renovating the use of his instrument, a prisoner of strict musical traditions. Such prospects live in the works of his two sons, the pianist Bachar-Mar and percussionist Rami, both trained at the conservatory, both connected to jazz and electronics. Suffice to say that beyond their name, these three musicians find themselves in the same transmusical will. A desire to overcome the erected barriers as stylistic codes that they call into play through this spectacular trio.
