For this event recorded in special conditions, without an audience, Ibrahim Maalouf chose the mythical arena of Nîmes. A magical place that regularly hosts musical events, including every summer the Festival of Nimes.

If the public was not able to attend the recording, its absence still marked the concert as Ibrahim Maalouf explains: “the emptiness that is created by the absence of people will finally, strangely and quite paradoxically invade the space”. The space was also well occupied by the music students who were invited to play with the trumpeter.
