The Jordanian-Palestinian band El Morabba3 combines politically and socially critical lyrics with euphoric, realistic and raw post-rock. An artistic journey that not only brought the band great success, but also revitalized the independent Arab music scene. Their sound, which breaks down cultural barriers, expresses the worries and anger at the reality in which the musicians and their fans live. Mohammad Abdullah and Basel Naouri now live in Berlin. The musicians have restructured the band and taken the artistic development in a new direction: Starting from the raw post-rock energy of the first album and the sophisticated instrumental/electronic power of the second album, the artists have embarked on experimenting with electronic sounds and telling new stories.
