Matthew Tuck, Michael Paget, Nick Crandle and Michael Thomas, whose band is still called back then Jeff Killed John, start their career by covering Metallica and Nirvana songs. The arrival of Jason James on bass instead of Nick Crandle gives a new breath to the band: Jeff Killed John changes several times its name but definitely becomes Bullet For My Valentine and asserts its own musical style, a mixture of metal / post-hardcore with hard rock influences. A must-see band of the last twenty years, Bullet For My Valentine comes back to Paris to present its eponymous album, with particularly heavy sounds.
