In this new choreographic work, Pockemon Crew examines the digital society and social networks. At a time when there is less and less room for sensitivity and wonder, when everything is just tweets, posts and likes, this show sounds like a selfie of an age when we walk around with our eyes glued to our screens without paying attention to the world around us, and when it’s important to be seen by showing off. Between narrative and acrobatics, Pockemon Crew draws its inspiration from the air on the canvas. On the edge of the tableaux, the dancers combine technical performance with contemporary dance movements.
