The earthquake that shook south-east Turkey, the Kurdish regions and Syria has left countless people in need. Our thoughts are with the survivors, friends and families of the earthquake victims. We wish everyone strength and want to help: that’s why we’ll be collecting donations at the concerts and passing them on to selected NGOs.

Sababa5 is what the Psychedelic Music Explosion series is all about! That means irregular rhythms, disco grooves, psychedelia, funk and their synthesis with 70s western pop, rediscovered and reinterpreted for the 21st century. Sababa 5 plays a modern interpretation of Mizrahi music, a genre originally played in Israel by Syrian, Moroccan and Iraqi Jews, and incorporates stylistic elements from Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. A decidedly danceable mix!
