Set to a musical selection of extensive excerpts from Bizet’s Carmen, performed by the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra (ROSS) and three internationally acclaimed opera singers, Israel Galván revisits the myth, measuring the distance between the imagined Carmen of Mérimée and Bizet, and its Sevillian origins, right in the heart of the Andalusian capital, where she has become an emblem.
