The most punk of all redheads is back at Hellfest! In Clisson, Frank Carter and his faithful Rattlesnakes will be defending Dark Rainbow, their fifth album.
The marriage between Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes was quickly consummated: the album Blossom was released just a few months after they met. But quick doesn’t mean bad: this first album showed Frank Carter at the top of his game. This mastery allows the Briton to oscillate between rage and melody, and even to take side steps towards ballads and blues.
Following this sensational debut, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes have released four albums: Modern Ruin (2017), End of Suffering (2019), Sticky (2021) and Dark Rainbow (2024). With an album released almost every two years, this is a band that’s set up like clockwork… but with music that hits the spot!
Surrounded by the Rattlesnakes, Frank Carter enjoys playing his wild music. With his voice and instruments pushed to the extreme, the former member of Gallows and Pure Love delivers a crazy energy on stage, as if each one were his last. This Hellfest concert was no exception.
