Watch

Youssoupha returns to the stage, six years after his first appearance, bringing the audience into the world of Amour Suprême, his seventh studio album.

After studying at the Sorbonne, Youssoupha chose to fully devote himself to rap. He began his journey with the group Frères Lumières, then joined the Bana Kin project, which led to the album Tendance. Following opening performances for major US rappers like 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Busta Rhymes, the Kinshasa-born artist released his solo debut À chaque frère in 2007.

That first album already showcased the core of Youssoupha’s artistry: sharp lyricism, a humanist outlook, introspective depth, and a strong sense for collaboration. With his refined writing and musical eclecticism, he quickly rose to the top of the French rap scene and established himself as one of its most insightful voices.

With Amour Suprême, he stays true to his vision. Ending a four-year hiatus, the album is a heartfelt tribute to love, blending rap with gospel, amapiano, and afrobeats. It stands as a manifesto for peace and intergenerational legacy.

Filmed on February 12, 2024, at La Station – Gare des Mines, Paris.
