The Jordan opens a window into her trip-hop world at Eurosonic, a few weeks before the release of her debut album: Nowhere Near The Sky.

You may already know Caroline Van der Leeuw. The Dutchwoman first made a name for herself as Caro Emerald, before she chose her current pseudonym: The Jordan. Under this new identity, the musician distils a music between trip-hop, folk and electro that could remind you of Portishead or Morcheeba.

This highly cinematic universe has given rise to several EPs: Best Damn Day, I’m Not Sorry and Temptation. A trio followed in February 2023 by the release of Nowhere Near The Sky, a first album in which David Kosten (producer of Bat For Lashes and Everything Everything, among others) participated.
