The fast-rising London collective “Steam Down” is setting Jazz à la Villette 2023 on fire!
Since the release of the single “Etcetera” on the Blue Note label, undoubtedly known to fans of FIFA 2021 since it is part of its soundtrack, they have been all the rage on the stages of the biggest European festivals.
Steam Down comes from the name of a musical evening which has electrified South-East London every week since 2017. Little by little, a community was formed until the creation of a real group led by multi-instrumentalist Ahnansé . Steam Down is a London collective from Deptford, in the south-east of the English capital, which combines hip-hop, R&B and electro. After the release last year of a first EP Five Fruit, the collective is currently working on the content of what will be their first album: a repertoire in progress to be discovered in preview on the festival stage.
