Offering from the outset a rich and monobloc sound, the Toulouse trio SLIFT already hit hard with their first album La Planète inexplorée, released in 2018. An already unclassifiable album, where you could hear hard rock and heavy metal (Royal Blood), stoner rock (Soundgarden) influences but also electronic sounds often inspired by Krautrock. Noticed among others on the media KEXP in a live given during the Trans Musicales in Rennes (2019), the group releases in February 2020 its second LP entitled UMMON, a double album with the appearance of a legendary fresco. Inspired by the writings of Alain Damasio, the album is conceived as the soundtrack of a dreamlike film, between space opera and passionate science fiction.
