Sheldon’s quiet strength envelops the lobby of Building B! A founding member of the Parisian collective 75e Session, Sheldon needs no introduction to rap fans. For over 10 years, the artist can be found behind a microphone, turntables, or a console. Sometimes a beatmaker for some or a sound engineer for others, he is an architect at the heart of a creative volcano, which returns the favor by multiplying its sources of inspiration in order to release ever more elaborate projects. This is particularly the case with his latest opus, “Îlot” (2023), in which Sheldon delivers to listeners a subtle blend of melancholic rap, deliberately dark and cold. His strong voice contrasts with a majority of minimalist instrumentals, where melodic moments are rare. The audience then finds itself alone, immersed in the waves of the artist’s thoughts… as if on an island. The Building B collection, presented by Oxmo PuccinoPolished concrete mailboxes, a brand new building lobby, an immaculate white staircase, you are with OxmoPuccino in the Hall of Building B. A beat resounds, Oxmo sits on his staircase and begins a spoken word between a rapped mood piece and praise for the guest artists. Through live performances, interviews and new features, he examines the creative processes with his guests and highlights everything that connects rap, poetry, pop and… French song!
