Beatmaker from Caen, Fakear was particularly noticed during the 2013 edition of Trans Musicales de Rennes. The same year, he published the EP Morning in Japan, which already announced a well asserted style. Since these early days, Fakear has only gained in mastery and recognition. From his first album – Animal, released in 2016 – to the very recent Everything Will Grow Again, the Normandy native’s wandering electro has indeed managed to gather a nice community around it. Fakear’s music is strongly influenced by world music, especially Asian. Spiritual son of Bonobo and Flying Lotus but also comrade of Superpoze, Fakear transports us in fascinating lands. The compositions of Fakear are as refined as porcelain. A preciousness that does not prevent the musician from giving powerful live performances. Live demonstration, from the Mucem. It’s going to be beautiful!
