Since he moved to France, Olivier Ker Ourio has kept close ties with Reunion Island, where his ancestors took root nearly three centuries ago. The harmonica player, in whom many see the successor of Toots Thielemans, wrote this project around what is called in Creole an “orkès péï”. Exclusively composed of musicians from Reunion Island, this enriched formation puts its experience at the service of original compositions, but also of classics from the island arranged by Olivier. The orkès will be joined at the Parc Floral by the friend Sylvain Luc.
