Molécule takes Trabendo on a journey between France and Jamaica for the release of RE-201, his eleventh album, released in 2023. Molécule is a sound hunter. Every album, every concert by this producer from Grenoble is a true experience. The Frenchman is known for his original concepts and bold artistic choices (to say the least). After recording and mixing the sounds of a fishing trawler and the Arctic ice for 60°43’ North (2015) and -22.7°C (2018), Molécule retreated to a supposedly haunted lighthouse in Brittany to record Tévennec (2021).
The French pioneer of soundfield recording chose a more temperate destination for his RE-201 project. It was in Kingston, the capital of Jamaica, that Molécule gathered the material for his eleventh album. Equipped with state-of-the-art recording equipment, the nomadic musician collaborated with legends of Jamaican music: Leroy Wallace, Jah Thomas, Prince Alla, and others.

Live, RE-201 translates into an immersive performance with soundsystem, dub, and house influences. A hypnotic performance that transports the audience at Trabendo to the heart of Caribbean nights.
