The members of Jinjer are leading ambassadors of metal from Ukraine. Driven by the voice and charisma of vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk, the band brings their progressive groove metal to every corner of the globe. Today, they make a stop at Hellfest.
Jinjer’s journey began in the late 2000s. The group’s lineup has undergone significant changes since its inception, and has been fully reformed. Since 2017, the band has consisted of Tatiana Shmayluk on vocals, Roman Ibramkhalilov on guitar, Eugene Abdiukhanov on bass, and Vladislav Ulasevich on drums.
This new generation of Jinjer released _Macro_ in 2019, an album written and recorded while on tour. They followed up with _Wallflowers_ in 2021, and _Duél_ in 2025.
As always with Jinjer, it’s Tatiana Shmayluk’s voice that leaves the deepest impression, effortlessly shifting from a whisper to a punch in the face in a single vocal snap.
