In March 1987, Jane Birkin took to the stage for the first time. At the Bataclan for a month, in front of a full house every night, with her short hair and graceful voice, she played 27 songs from her repertoire, all written for her by Gainsbourg. This public recording gives us the opportunity to hear 19 of them again.
