For this evening of pop and jazz, the phenomenal Japanese pianist Hiromi and her new group Sonicwonder, made up of some of the most talented international musicians, promise to deliver some serious live thrills. Then it’s back to the Théâtre Antique for Youn Sun Nah, in an atypical new trio with two of the most imaginative and versatile pianist/keyboardists around: Éric Legnini and Tony Paeleman. To open the evening, Jeanne Added offered an acoustic duo concert with pianist Bruno Ruder. Together, they subtly interpreted the repertoire of this accomplished musician, reinvented in intimate mode.
