Harmar Superstar

Year: 2014
Director: Sylvain Pierrel
Genre: Live Show

Famous for his comico-trash-like performances, Sean Tillmann is also an accomplished soulman. In 2004, his debut album, The Handler, included a duet with Karen O, the singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. In 2009, he contributed with the help of Adam Green and Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to the soundtrack of Drew Barrymore’s film Whip It. Carried by the flamboyant Lady, You Shot Me, his second album Bye Bye Bye 17 was released on Cult Records, Strokes singer Julian Casablancas’ label. Here, dark music, with a predilection for the 1980s is manipulated to the point where love and humour rhyme, as if Lionel Richie dreamt of being Barry White: with or without a moustache.
