Conductor Laurence Equilbey, at the head of the Accentus choir and her Insula orchestra playing on original contemporary instruments, offers rich and original programmes, such as this entire evening dedicated to Handel, one of the most remarkable musical personalities of the late Baroque. 
Inviting a trio of brilliant singers to join her, she has chosen to perform the masterly Dixit Dominus, an oratorio written during Händel’s trip to Italy, in which, behind the obvious influence of Vivaldi, a few pre-Mozartian accents can be detected.
