The trio composed of pianist Chris Illingworth, bassist Nick Blacka and their new drummer Jon Scott offer a blend of modern piano and aspirations to the freedoms of a new jazz, to which they add danceable electronic music. Airy melodies, prepared piano, repetitive motifs, double bass backing vocals, crescendo compositions… All with a hint of electro and the influence of Esbjörn Svensson as strong as ever.
