1997: Pulp opened in Paris on the Boulevard Poissonniere. Besides its quality night lighthouse Parisian lesbian world, the club became one of the highlights of the French Touch wave that affects the end of the second millennium.
Resident of the club during its ten years of existence, the DJette Chloé is one of the figures emerging from the microcosm orbiting the Pulp. Soon the artist’s skills extended beyond simple mixing to production. Then come two albums, of which the latest: One in Other released in 2010 that will be nominated at the Victoires de la Musique, but also a host of EP, compilations and mixes.
Among them, Kill The DJ: The Dysfunctionnal Family with Ivan Smagghe who also officiated at the Pulp. The Parisian DJ, incidentally radio columnist and one half of electro-rock duo Black Strobe has not only built a solid reputation of Diggers (disk scout) but also producer emeritus.
And if the Pulp closed its doors in 2007, taking away the ghosts of the French Touch with it, it’s not into the past that the set of the two artists is turned, on the contrary.
