The early 2000s were the time of Deryck Whibley’s band: Sum41 . Starting out as a group of Canadian high school students, the band entered the punk rock movement alongside Blink 182 and Good Charlotte. The album All Killer, No Filler served as the soundtrack for a whole generation rocked by American Pie. 

After a slight dip at the turn of the 2010s, Deryck Whibley and his cohorts returned to top form in 2016 with their sixth album, 13 Voices. This album marks a more metal turn for the band, who have taken the opportunity to reunite with Dave Baksh, a member of their original line-up.
