For her last creation as associate artist, Anne Paceo will draw her inspiration from shamanic music and vocal practices. After Fables of Shwedagon or Bright Shadows, it’s not surprising to see her pulling a bit more the thread of vocal and percussion work. Inspired as much by the energy of trance drums as by sacred chants, the music, sometimes very acoustic and “raw”, sometimes “textural”, is articulated as a new journey, introspective and at the same time fundamentally turned towards the world.
