Mourad Merzouki explores the popular rhythms of Italian tarantella with the musicians of the Concert de l’Hostel Dieu. In force and in numbers, they seize upon an unusual fusion of genres under the banner of sharing and generosity. In Folia, hip-hop dance meets the baroque music of the Concert de l’Hostel Dieu, but that’s not all: contemporary dance, classical dance and a whirling dervish are also intertwined.
