He is one of the most famous DJs in France, and his dizzying rise seems to know no limits… A musician from an early age (he played guitar, drums and even tried his hand at singing) and a fan of hip-hop, it is notably through the prism of cinema that he develops a particular affection for jazz, soul, funk and disco. His interest in house music came later, when he started organizing parties in Lyon with the Touche Française collective.
He created the Moonrise Hill Material label with his friends Éthyène, Kaffé Crème and Saint Paul/Okwa, before creating his own solo label, FHUO (For Heaven Use Only). Besides the activity linked to his two labels, Folamour also works on his solo projects, with many EPs and a first album Umami, very successful. His productions oscillate between club-oriented house tracks and more laid-back jazzy pieces to listen to in his living room.
