A precocious talent spotted over fifteen years ago with his first tracks, Rejjie Snow broke through to a wider audience in 2018 with a debut album shaped by an already rich journey. Born in Dublin to a Nigerian father and a Jamaican mother, he moved to Florida as a teenager on a football scholarship. A brief detour to Savannah to study film later, Rejjie Snow returned to Ireland to fully dedicate himself to music.
Growing up as the only Black kid in his neighborhood, discovering life and the world all at once, these experiences are deeply woven into _Dear Annie_, an album marked by a sharp sense of storytelling. In 2021, _Baa, Baa, Black Sheep_ explored a sound that was both more soulful (samples, percussion, and analog synths) and more pop-oriented (with melodic flair reminiscent of American rapper Tyler, The Creator). In 2024, _Peace 2 Da World_ blossoms into radiant eclecticism, where smooth soul meets rhythms and sounds brought back from Brazil.
