A show about time. At the edge of time.
To talk about time is to talk about what repeats itself, what transforms, what transforms through repetition.
The passing of time, the time of passing.
The crossing of space.
Déjà vu. The repetition of days, in the infinite variations of mornings, afternoons and evenings, the poetry of monotony.
Emptiness and fullness.
Speed, slowness, cycles, days and nights, the loops of life.
The repetition of almost identical things in incessant and subtle variations, from which singularities emerge. Recovering, recycling.
Recovering existing elements.
Using elements from the past to talk about today.
Creating a show on the theme of time, and tackling the question of time head-on. Can we slip through the meshes of time? Slip between times?
Unless we let it slip away? We know how much humans love to measure it, to mark its rhythm with clocks and metronomes, in the hope of agreeing on its meaning… And yet, time constantly differs from one person to another – everyone’s time coexisting, intersecting and intertwining.
The aim is to magnify the beauty of artists of all ages. Each performer carries within them their own story, part of a unique history of dance, written in the body itself, through experiences and inspirations.
So many presences emerge at the turn of a gesture, in filigree, in real time. Or unreal.
