Nils Wogram’s Root 70 is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most influential jazz ensembles. With their blend of soft bop, microtonality and rhythmic sophistication, the four musicians have created an unmistakable band sound. Over the past 20 years, Root 70 has released eight albums containing over 50 original compositions. The band is now drawing on this rich reservoir to play a ‘Best Of’ programme live.
