Marion Brunetto, whose stage name is inspired by her animal totem Requin Chagrin (Sorrowful Shark), grew up between dream pop, Californian rock, English noisy-pop and became the outsider heiress of Yé-yé. Keyboardist, bassist, guitarist, drummer, she embodies a self made woman at the dawn of her thirties. After the revelation of her first self-titled album in 2015, then the confirmation of the second, “Sémaphore” in 2019, Marion continues to mix dream pop, rock’n’roll reverb and echoes of the 80s in her new record “Bye Bye Baby”.
