Straight from Paris, the two boys of the group Vox Low are not at their first try. Far from being young beginners, Jean-Christophe Couderc and Benoit Raymond started in 2004 under Laurent Garnier’s label with Think Twice, a quintet inspired by DFA, the music label co-founded by the leader of LCD Soundsystem. Despite good reviews, the band split up but Jean-Christophe and Benoît didn’t stop there. They create Vox Low, a new band full of electro sounds and psychedelic rock. Floating and heavy voices accompanied by an ultra rhythmic bass line thus form the sound DNA of the band, halfway between techno and rock’n’roll. In June 2017, the band announced the upcoming release of this minimal-inspired debut album, embellished with synths and nods to CAN, the mythical band of the 1970s Krautrock scene!
