Guitar prodigy Thibaut Garcia performs his album El Bohemio in Rouen’s sublime Chapelle Corneille. This Latin-flavoured concert is a tribute to the Paraguayan composer Agustín Barrios Mangoré.

Born in Toulouse in 1994, Thibaut Garcia is a different kind of guitar hero. Winner (among others) of the Instrumental Revelation award at the 2019 Victoires de la Musique Classique and the Guitar Foundation of America in 2015, the Franco-Spanish-born artist is without doubt one of the most gifted guitarists of his generation.

Thibaut Garcia has a passion for music and a curiosity for everything, and his achievements include a superb collaboration with Philippe Jarrousky, an album dedicated to Bach, and another celebrating the great Latin American composers… Solo or accompanied, in chamber music or tango, Thibaut Garcia never ceases to explore all the possibilities offered by his favourite instrument.

He proves this once again with El Bohemio, a tribute album to the Paraguayan composer and guitarist Agustín Barrios Mangoré. His performance in Rouen’s Chapelle Corneille is an opportunity to rediscover Chopin and Beethoven, in Latin-influenced arrangements.
