An icon of the new wave of Irish music in the 1990s, Neil Hannon created the chamber pop band The Divine Comedy in 1989. For 25 years, this flexible ensemble (Hannon is the only permanent member) has been brewing modern music that likes to look back and borrow from the Swinging Sixties.
