Discover Slate, the young Welsh quartet with a dark and poetic universe. Barely out of their teens, the four members of Slate set the tone with their debut EP _Deathless_, released in May: while raw power is certainly present, it serves a deeper, gothic, and melodic poetry. On stage, their brooding rock, driven by a deeply intense frontman, gains even more strength through tight rhythms and saturated guitars. It’s no surprise that Slate is often compared to bands like Joy Division or Fontaines D.C., with whom they share a taste for darkness amidst the noise.
