The story of Skindred actually begins before Skindred itself — the band led by Benji Webbe rose from the ashes of an earlier outfit called Dub War. Since that explosive rebirth in 1998, the Welsh quintet has been honing a sound entirely their own, joyfully colliding metal, punk, reggae, electronica… The result is far too wild to be boxed into any single genre.
In more than twenty-five years of existence, Skindred has built its legend primarily on stage. Benji and his crew are known for live shows bursting with irresistible groove and infectious energy.
