Dutch band Sarah Julia performs the track ‘Cairngorms’ during a session filmed at the Eurosonic festival. Warm and comforting.

Sarah Julia is an all-female band formed by two sisters, Phoebe Bridgers and Big Thief, who love the music of Joni Mitchell. A world of pop and folk that the band have been nurturing in Amsterdam, where they have made their home.

For this session, we invited Sarah Julia to a former grain silo converted into a cultural space. It was an opportunity to discover one of the group’s very first tracks, ‘Cairngorms’, with all the intensity of a live performance.
