In line with its work of rediscovery of Rhenish baroque music, Dulcis Melodia proposes a new creation centered on the music of Strasbourg in the 17th century, at a time when Italy was blowing a creative wind across Alsace. At the center of this program, which is articulated around the voice and wind instruments (including the cornet à bouquin, which was in its heyday at the time), we discover, in a subtle alternation of timbres, two collections very closely influenced by Italy, whose diffusion was widespread in the entire region and well beyond.
