The first big headliner did not disappoint. The band Queens of the Stone Age, led by Josh Homme, played at the twilight of the Main Square Festival opening.
“Thank you so much, motherf*ckers!” these few poetic words were thrown at an electric crowd, where French and Belgian flags, after their respective football victories against Uruguay and Brazil, were legion.
As was to be expected, the Californians gave pride of place to tracks from their new latest album “Villains”, released in 2017 and in particular “Feet Don’t Fail Me” which opened the concert.
