In 2018 and 2022, Orange Goblin’s concerts _literally_ tore up Hellfest. Never two without three: the stage beasts are back in Clisson, armed with their relentless stoner sound.
Raised on the music of Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Judas Priest, Orange Goblin has been delivering a subtle blend of stoner, doom, and heavy metal since the mid-90s. This mix, more Molotov cocktail than margarita, first shook the underground pubs of London before setting stages ablaze around the globe.
A rarity in the metal scene, the band’s lineup has remained largely unchanged since its early days. To this day, Orange Goblin combines the fury and skill of Ben Ward (vocals), Joe Hoare (guitar), Harry Armstrong (bass), and Chris Turner (drums). Four people might not seem like much to make that kind of noise, but they pull it off in spectacular fashion.
On the discography front, Orange Goblin has released ten studio albums, from _Frequencies from Planet Ten_ in 1997 to _Science, Not Fiction_ in 2024. These records truly come alive on stage, as proven by their performance at Hellfest 2025!
