Founded in 2016 by Suzi Digby, Ora Singers is now one of the most active vocal ensembles in England. In the great tradition of choirs from across the Channel, the English conductor has concocted a program in tribute to the 70 years of Elizabeth II’s reign. Drawing from the most beautiful collections of a cappella pieces of the English Renaissance (Tallis, Byrd, Gibbons,…) intermingled with works commissioned by the ensemble, Suzi Digby maliciously draws a musical link between the two most famous Elizabeth of England.
