Nathalie Froehlich has arrived and it’s going to hurt! The Swiss rapper and her sharp punchlines are going to knock everyone’s socks off.

Don’t be fooled by her surname (‘fröhlich’ meaning ‘happy’ in German): Nathalie Froehlich is very unhappy. The young woman uses her pen like a blade to slash at pretense, injustice and societal violence… all to the accompaniment of an anabolic mix of dancehall, reggaeton, techno and tribal percussion.

Nathalie Froehlich has come down from the Alps to take on the Netherlands, and she’s taking the audience by storm at the Simplon, one of the Groningen concert halls used by the Eurosonic Festival.
