Each album, each concert of Molécule is a real experience. The Frenchman is indeed used to original concepts and strong biases (to say it is an understatement). After having recorded and mixed the sounds of a trawler and those of the ice floe, Molécule arrives at INASOUD with a brand new project in his bag: Acousmonium.

But in fact, what is an “acousmonium”? According to the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (a body headed by the INA), an acousmonium is an “orchestra of loudspeakers placed in front of, around and in the audience of the concert”. It is therefore a true musical and sensory experience that INASOUND festival-goers are invited to participate in. The Acousmonium at the Palais Brongniart is inspired by a project that Molécule presented last year at the Centre Pompidou: an ambient performance inspired by Yves Klein’s blue works IKB3. The place changes but the idea remains the same: to create a strong link between the music, its audience and its environment.
