Switzerland returns to the spotlight as Mairo steps onto the stage to represent the Alpine nation with the release of his debut album, La Fiev.

Mairo first made his name as part of the Super Wak Clique, a collective that includes standout names like Di-Meh, Slimka, Malaka, and Varnish La Piscine — some of the finest talents in Swiss rap. Despite early success, Mairo took the time to shape his solo identity, crafting a bold, visceral, technically sharp, and deeply introspective style.

He first revealed this voice through the project 365, then solidified it with the 2020 EP 95 Monde Libre. By 2023, the releases Qui a volé le soleil ? and omar chappier racked up massive streaming numbers and propelled the Eritrean-Swiss rapper on tour.

In February 2025, he marks a new milestone with La Fiev, his debut full-length album, created in collaboration with the producer hôpital — who also happens to be his twin brother. And what better way to celebrate this release than taking it to the stage?
