Knobil is a vocal jazz quartet founded by Louise Knobil, a double bass player, singer and composer based in Lausanne. Inspired by Esperanza Spalding, Charles Mingus and Oscar Pettiford, she performs her own compositions with her double bass and voice, in a style somewhere between singer-songwriter, post-bop and sparkling jazz.
