Lyon-based punk trio Johnnie Carwash will be giving us a bit of levity and a lot of fun at Les Vieilles Charrues 2023.

Johnnie Carwash, a contraction of Johnny (Halliday) and Frankie (Cosmos), and because they rehearse near a carwash, is a guitar/bass/drums trio made up of three friends: Manon, Maxime and Bastien. They draw inspiration from the fresh pop of Frankie Cosmos, the self-destructive snarl of FIDLAR and the messy garage in which the three rehearse. Since their formation in 2018, their songs have oscillated between frontal punk and skin-deep slows.
