The artist Jeanne Added sings on a breakaway tune at Les Vieilles Charrues 2023.

After a career as a performer for a number of jazz musicians, and after releasing her first EP in 2011 and her debut album “Be Sensational” in 2015, Jeanne Added is back with “By You Side”, her third album: dark electronic pop written in French against a backdrop of rupture. The legendary drum machine used by Prince is summoned in Jeanne Added’s music, along with influences from Joni Mitchell and Keith Jarrett. Very sincere, strong and tender at the same time, the artist sings with her intense voice a vibrant emotion while keeping the same high musical standards.
