From Vienna, the mixed duet HVOB (Her Voice Over Boys) is one of the most exciting electro groups of the moment, thanks to their uplifting songs carried by Anna Müller’s light-as-air voice. The pieces of HVOB take time to develop and expand, for a both dense and light rendering. This subtle alchemy is innervated by catchy loops and a near-constant increase in power. Digged out by Oliver Koletzki, the Austrians have published two albums: HVBO (2013) and Trialog (2015).

With an on-stage drummer along for the ride, HVOB blithely mixes electronic, acoustic and organic sounds. A geometry that gives their electro performances a rock concert feel – a real call for improvisation and risk taking. The duo thus forged a true live experience and knows how to establish a great complicity with the public.
