British Britpop singer Gaz Coombes will be wowing audiences at Rock en Seine this year.

After making his mark on the British rock scene with his band Supergrass, Gaz Coombes continues his solo adventure with a 4th album, “Turn The Car Around” (2023). Now exploring glam rock and soul, this Oxford native offers a more polished musicality than in his early days and an impressively solid vocal timbre, without losing his live frenzy. Able, like his pals in the Last Shadow Puppets, to alternate between sensitive ballads and punchier rhythms, Gaz Coombes is yet further proof that there is life after Britpop, as the careers of Damon Albarn and the Gallagher brothers have already confirmed.
