Coming from a classical background, the Deutsche Grammophon artist Francesco Tristano was brought to electro in the course of his meetings. A style he masters today as much as the most famous concertos.

This unusual path allows the pianist to cover his tracks and cozy up to the most inventive and hybrid projects. This is true again since Francesco Tristano joins his mentor: American pianist Bruce Brubaker, out of the Juilliard School and known for his true piano “remixes”. Together they interpret a “Simulcast”, a creation where the two pianists answer each other, improvise and deconstruct Baroque, classical and contemporary music, like two DJs. At the charming Gaîté Lyrique in Paris, the two virtuosos revisit pieces by John Cage, Bach, Philip Glass, Schumann, Tchaikovsky and Carl Craig…
